Jess Chan is a designer maker specialising in Printed Textiles and Natural dyes, with colour playing an important role within the design process. Her designs are inspired by botanical nature and geometry, intertwining texture through mark making.

 

Jess’ research into Natural dyes has led to an Artist Residency in Oaxaca, Mexico.

 

After completing her MA in Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art in 2011, she has since then taught short courses at Central Saint Martins and currently works at Wimbledon College of Art as a Dye Technician.

 

Jess also provides a Print and Dye consultancy service within the Fashion and Costume Industry.
